I am giving away a WONDERFUL PERSONALIZED PRAYER BASKET. Equipping people to have consistent time with God is something I am EXTREMELY passionate about. Although there are many ways that the Holy Spirit leads and guides us in our time with God, I have found my prayer basket to be a really effective tool for me. Every morning when I pray, I grab my basket and head to a quiet spot in the house to meet with the Lord. Everything I need is right there!
The basket will include:
1. A personalized prayer journal (with different sections…just for you – this is the most important thing in the basket. I can work with you to come up with a prayer journal/ideas to help you have a prayer tool to help you enter in to joyful time with the Lord…you will love your journal!)
2. A pack of cards for scripture writing (something to take with you, to put in your pocket, the scripture verse you want to meditate on through the day)
3. An assortment of nice pens and highlighters in a pencil case that fits neatly in the basket
4. A copy of Beth Moore’s “Praying God’s Word”
5. Kleenex (of course)

I would love to give this to my friend Sally, who just realized that, since losing her grandmother, she is now the primary intercessor and role model for her female family members. I know this would comfort and bless her as she settles into this new phase of life.
Oh my goodness, this is an awesome giveaway! I’ve known for a long time that intercessory prayer is a calling of mine, but since leaving college I’ve been so lax at developing the discipline to walk in the calling.

This is a great idea! I don’t know why it never occurred to me…I am constantly trying to keep all of my stuff together and always losing something that I need. What a blessing it would be to have it all together and not have to stop to look for something!

Wow, that basket sounds great. I have really been trying to strengthen my prayer life. My husband and I are going through a difficult time, he is without a job. So, the prayer is so important. We know that God is answering our prayers and providing for us, daily.
I remember that you did this last time too. I think this is a great idea and I think it is a great way to grow the discipline of prayer.

It has been such a blessing, but it’s a spiral (tabbed) notebook, and it’s FULL!!! I’ve spilled over into the other (less-full) tabs. I peeked at the pic & saw that it’s a binder, & I would love to see how you set them up. (And I’ve been wanting to read the book.) I’m going to try a binder for my next notebook for sure! I would really LOVE this basket. I am ready to start something new for my personal time with God. Sometimes I feel like this is the last thing on my list when it should be my first. I have wanted to get Beth Moore’s “Praying God’s Word”. It is on my list of books that I “NEED” to read. I would love to read it along with starting a prayer journal.
This is another awesome giveaway that I am (again)trying to win! I have to say that my prayer life is one thing I really struggle with. It is hard sometimes to believe that I can make a difference, that spending time with God in prayer rather than bible study is just as important and can change things,and move mountains. It is easier to belive that other people’s prayers will be heard and answered than that mine will be…guess I definitely need to work on this!

I made my first Prayer Journal with my MOPS group last year, and while I haven’t been as dedicated to it as i would like, I think this basket would motivate me to rededicate myself to it!
I think this is a really great idea. I’ve recently been convicted that I need to be spending more time in prayer. This life is war…and I need to be in constant communication with my Commander!

This is such a wonderful and precious idea.
I would like to win this because it would keep me encouraged and organized. Having a place for my devotional things is appealing to me.
I like having my time with the Lord for many reasons and just the intentionality of setting my devotional things up and having them ready would get me before the Lord sooner, instead of trying to put together everything. I would like this because God is definitely trying to speak to me about prayer. I have been praying for Him to come alive to me in my prayer life and for Him to help me to love Him whole heartedly. Well since then, my pastor has been preaching on prayer, I have heard 2 sermons about it on the radio, last night on a whim I went to a friend’s home and she brought it up and now your blog. Guess I better clue in!

I have recently had a huge loss in my life and am having a hard time pulling it all together.
I have been going through a period in my life that I can only discribe as monotone. I don’t have the spiritual highs that I once had years ago. I would love a prayer basket! I have never had anything like that and I struggle big time with making the effort to have a daily devotional with the Lord and its my hearts desire that I make that a priority in my life.
Plus, I never win anything and I would be so excited to actually win something for once! No pressure though
